Development Grandma's Soup
In the early summer of 2018, we were working hard to plan a project: The Ginkgo House - Grandma's Soup. At that time, we strongly believed that every family has a traditional slow-cooked soup that you always remember the taste of. It's cooked by your loved ones and is unique, and tastes better than any other soup you've ever had. However, with the passing of loved ones, the opportunity to drink that soup may be lost forever. What remains in your memory is only the "taste of memories". Therefore, Grandma's Soup decided to make delicious soup their specialty.
The testimony of Grandma's Soup
At the end of 2018, a Miss Chan contacted us by all means possible after learning that Grandma's Soup specializes in making delicious soup. She told us about a bean curd soup that always reminded her memories because it was her grandmother who used to cook it for her when she was a child, and it was emotionally significant to her. Unfortunately, she couldn't find it anywhere else. Miss Chan told us that she missed the soup. When Anne, the grandma of Ginkgo House, and Master Xia learned about this, they decided to try their best to make it happen and fulfill Miss Chan's wish to taste the bean curd soup again. With Miss Chan's detailed recipe, they successfully cooked a pot of traditional bean curd sheet soup and invited Miss Chan to taste it. As she drank the soup, tears streamed down her face, and she hugged Anne and said, "This is the taste...thank you!" At that moment, we understood why we started Grandma's Soup. It's because every soup is full of memories between you and your loved ones and is a testament to the love that we hold dear.
